Breakfast Club

Breakfast club starts at 07:45 and is run by a member of the school staff in the canteen.

Children have access to a wide selection of cereal, toast, fruit juice, water and milk.

Special dietary requirements are catered for and should be discussed with the school office when attending for the first time.

The cost of the session is £4.00 rising to £4.20 from September 2026.

Sessions can be booked 24 hours in advance via Arbor.
Children should be brought to the side entrance to the canteen where they will be signed in.

 

EXTRA Time @AMS

Our after school club runs from 15:10 - 17:30 in the main school building and is run by a member of our school staff.

From September 2026 parents will have the choice of 2 sessions:

15:10 - 16:00 Homework Club
This will involve the use of a chrome book to complete homework independently.

Cost: £4.00

 

15:10 - 17:30 Full Session

Cost: £8.40 and includes a light tea. Special dietary requirements are catered for and should be discussed with the school office when attending for the first time.

The children enjoy a programme of arts and crafts and outdoor play in addition to having time to complete homework. We have invested in a new games shed at the request of our children which will be installed during the summer break. This will give access to a range of games and activities during break times and during EXTRA time.

Children are welcome to participate in an after-school sports club and then attend EXTRA time@AMS.

The current cost of the session is £8.00 rising to £8.40 from September 2026.

Sessions should be booked 1 day in advance via Arbor or for any adhoc sessions please contact the school office.

For last minute additions to EXTRA time, please note that requests must be made by midday by calling the school office.

 

Collecting your child at the end of the session

Parents/carers should come to the school office to collect children from EXTRA time.

There is an intercom on the wall to the left of the large window, please follow the instructions to notify the club leader that you have arrived. They will bring your child to you.

 

Tax Free Childcare Vouchers

Should you wish to use Tax free Childcare Vouchers to pay for wraparound care, please email the school office to advise them of this. We will then activate this option on your Arbor account.

To ensure we allocate the correct funds to your account please advise of the following:

• The name of your child
• Where the payment has been made from e.g Edenred, Government Tax Free Childcare
• The date the payment was made
• The total amount of the payment
• The unique reference number so we can match your payment to your child
• If paying for both Breakfast Club and EXTRA time @AMS, please indicate how you would like the split of the payment made.

When the payment has been allocated to your ARBOR account we will confirm by email
