On Thursday 18^th April, author, motivational speaker and UK Patron of Reading, Joffre White, came to visit Allenbourn and opened up a new perspective of reading and writing to Key Stage 3, while giving an encouraging message along the way. While he was here, pupils participated in Q & A sessions. As well as this, he kindly gave up some of his time to guide a group of pupils in a creative writing workshop.

His most important piece of advice was to let your imagination run wild, and to always follow your dreams.
