Year 6 Trip to Nothe Fort 

Two of our Year 6 classes had a fantastic time at Nothe Fort in Weymouth last week, stepping into the shoes of WWII evacuees

They explored rationing in the wartime shop, had a go washing clothes the 1940s way, and discovered what a typical kitchen looked like in those days. They even experienced what it was like to take shelter during an air raid

The remaining classes will be heading off over the next couple of weeks, and we can’t wait for them to enjoy the same memorable, hands-on experience that brings history to life!
