Once again, Allenbourn were invited to the Shrove Tuesday pancake races at the Minster. The pancake had to be flipped at each corner of the Minster and kept in the frying pan until the end of the race. It was a fun event and we enjoyed watching all the other competitors. Daisy came first in the Middle School category, which won the school a £20 prize. Each pupil received a certificate and a Minster bookmark from the prize money, with the balance donated to the Year 5 charity, Mosaic. (Visit the Mosaic website to learn more about this charity.)
