With some tight defending in the early stages and some good goalkeeping from Jackson T the game remained goalless halfway through the first half. That was until Dan D hit a post from the edge of the area. This sighter was followed up with a cool finish from a similar range to give Allenbourn a 1-0 lead. This was to be the only goal of a tense encounter as both teams cancelled each other out for the remainder of the game. Notable performances came from Ryley M, Jacob T and Bailey F in the teams first win of the season. They now eagerly await their Round 2 opponents for their next fixture this term.
