Year 8 PEDSSA Final

On a glorious day last week at Dorset County Football Association's Ground, our Year 8 girls wrapped up their football season at the PEDSSA Final tournament.
A strong start saw them beat St Michael's Middle School 1–0 (Cerys Y) and Emmanuel 1–0 (Lexi G from a great corner by Jess L). A tough game against favourites Parkstone ended in a 2–0 loss, leaving it all to play for in the final match vs Broadstone.
Pushing hard for goals to secure a top-two finish, the girls showed real determination and attacking intent—at times leaving Phoebe A-C bravely holding the line at the back. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be, with a narrow 1–0 defeat meaning they missed out on runners-up on goal difference.
So much to be proud of: fantastic team play, long-range efforts, and a brilliant group of girls creating memories that will last well beyond their time at AMS!
