County Football Boys Finals

U11 Boys v Baden Powell (0–4)
On a glorious day at the Dorset County Ground, Allenbourn put in a strong performance against favourites Baden Powell that didn’t quite get the result it deserved.
Allenbourn started brightly, creating some excellent counter-attacking chances and were unlucky not to take the lead early on. George M was solid in goal, dealing confidently with everything thrown his way, but a breakaway saw AMS go into half-time 1–0 down.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Jacob H and Sam J both denied by outstanding goalkeeping. A superb free kick extended the lead to 2–0, and a quick third soon after made the challenge even tougher.
Pushing forward in search of goals, AMS switched to a more attacking setup, but were caught on the counter for a fourth. Despite this, Player of the Match Hunter P showed great determination throughout and was unlucky not to grab a well-deserved goal before the final whistle.
A fantastic effort from the whole team, who were rightly applauded at the end—the performance didn’t reflect the score line.
